With the international break over, we’re back with another Premier League prediction weekend here at BettingTips.net. The end of the season is in sight, with the top four chase hotting up. Our Premier League tips, predictions and more follow on below.
For our Premier League predictions today, we’re looking at a tie in the West Midlands, where Wolves host West Ham, who are bidding to keep their top four hopes alive. Can this season’s surprise package be a Champions League side next season? Our premier League tips, betting info and predictions will tell you what the experts think!
OK, so ‘woes’ might be a strong word, as they are in 13th place with 35 points and there’s no way our Premier League predictions have them going down. However Wolves set themselves high standards since being promoted under the stewardship of Nuno Espirito Santo, and this season hasn’t lived up to the heights of the last two. That’s largely in part to the absence of Mexican talisman Jiminez through the fractured skull he sustained back in November. Jiminez did train with Mexico i n Wales over the international break but did not feature.
The top four dream really is alive for David Moyes’ West Ham with just nine games left to go. But do our premier League predictions really see West Ham being their come May? It’s a tough one to call. West Ham were left disappointed in their last outing before the break, as they surrenders a 3-0 lead to draw 3-3 with Arsenal. Still, the are just two points behind Chelsea, but do have Spurs breathing down their neck a point behind. Revitalised loanee Jesse Lingard was on form for England during the break, and should continue his fine performances in the claret and blue.
West Ham thrashed Wolves in the reverse fixture back in September, when this surprise Moyes revival was beginning in earnest. That victory at the London stadium was, however, the first time the Hammers beat Wolves since the Gold and Blacks returned to the Premier League. In their first two season back in the top flight, Wolves enjoyed a 100% record against West Ham winning all four games. Interestingly, the winning side has kept a clean sheet in each of the last four games. An Interesting tie beckons on Sunday.
Below, you can find the result of the last five matches between Wolves and West Ham as well as three statistical highlights. We’ve used all of this info and more in order to bring you our Premier League prediction weekend here at BettingTips.net.
Having analysed the above information, our Premier League predictions today suggest and away win for the Hammers on Sunday.
The chance of the Hammers producing another thrilling encounter such as they did against Arsenal before the break looks unlikely. With Chelsea and Spurs both playing relegation battling candidates, Moyes will know that this a must win. Wolves are without a win in four games, and West Ham have an excellent record against every team outside of the top six this season. The Hammers star men mostly all had good international breaks as well, with Lingard and Declan Rice putting in good performances for England, and Tomáš Souček making the FIFA team of the week. We’re therefore backing the straightforward away win at odds of 2.4. We’re not confident enough to back the clean sheet trend to continue in this fixture though, given West Ham shipping three goals in their last outing.
