We’re back with another Premier League predictions weekend here at BettingTips.net, with two teams fighting at opposite amends of the table. As always, our team is on hand to bring you our top Premier League tips, predictions and odds for our chosen fixture below,
For our Premier League predictions today, we’re looking at a London Derby of sorts, as Chelsea host Fulham at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea are right in the throws of a top four battle, while Fulham have quickly fading hope of Premier League survival. Our Premier League tips, betting info and more follows.
Last weekend’s victory over West Ham has put Chelsea in the driver’s seat in the top four battle, as they now sit in fourth place, three points ahead of the Hammers and four behind Leicester. They also have a Cup double alive with the FA Cup final waiting and an away goal going into the second leg of their Champions League semi final against Real Madrid. Do our Premier League predictions see Chelsea in the top four come the end of the season? Almost certainly yes, as Tuchel’s tactics are proving to work wonders – for the most part.
Having looked to be rallying late on in a bid for Premier League survival, Scott Parker’s Fulham have capitulated recently. With four losses and one draw from their last five, our Premier League predictions all but have Fulham relegated. There have been some impressive performances from Scott Parker’s men, but poor recent form twinned with a Newcastle resurgence appears to have been their undoing – barring some sort of late miracle. They have been positive in their play though, and the likes of Aleksandar Mitrovic and Ademola Lookman still look like serious players on their day.
The head t head record makes for horrific reading for Fulham fans, as they haven’t beaten Chelsea since March 2006. Chelsea have comfortably won their last six games against the Cottagers, spanning a time when Fulham have been relegated and promoted twice. The last meeting back in January ended in a narrow 1-0 win for Chelsea against a Fulham side who went down to ten men. It was among Frank Lampard’s final few games in charge. Fulham’s brightest spell against Chelsea was back in 2011/12, when they managed to draw four games on the bounce.
Below, we’ve provided you with the results from the last five matches between Chelsea and Fulham as well as three statistical highlights, We’ve used this information alongside our analysis in order to bring you this Premier League prediction weekend here at BettingTips.net.
Having analysed the above information, our Premier League predictions today suggest a Chelsea win on Saturday.
Both teams have something to fight for going into this game, but it’s Chelsea who have the most realistic chance of reaching their goal. Fulham were spirited in their last outing, and managed to grab a point against Arsenal, but it appeared to be too little, too late. We don’t foresee this one being a classic, and we see Chelsea keeping the clean sheet. A goal or two might come late on, and most likely we’re looking at one of those narrow clean sheet wins we’ve become used to seeing from Chelsea under Tuchel.
Our betting tip for today is therefore to back a home win to nil at odds of 2.25. If you’re looking to back an exact score, we’d go for a 1-0 or 2-0 and likely goal scorers could be most attacking players other than Timo Werner.
