A First Impression of Clarity and Simplicity
The BetPack website is a no-frills affair, with a clear design which is easy to navigate around. There are no distracting promotional animations, and the site has a colour scheme which is dominated by yellow and black. Popular horse racing and football markets are placed in the main body of the homepage, while you can find an A-Z list of sports at the left side of the page. Your bet slip is located in the top right corner. Everything is very easy to find, and even novice punters should have no trouble navigating around this website.
A Website with Great Usability
Is BetPack reliable? When it comes to finding what you need on the site, it’s very reliable. There are clear categories of betting given their own tabs on the top of the homepage, so you can find live markets, virtual sports and multibet options very simply. This is a very basic betting website in terms of its design and layout, which is no bad thing. The potential for customer confusion is very low.
Simple Registration Process
When you click on the yellow register tab in the top right corner of the homepage, a pop-up window opens. This is a basic registration form, which requires you to provide BetPack with your name, address and other personal details. You also need to choose a username and a password at this stage. The process is very simple, and should not be too tricky, even for complete novices to the world of online sports betting. You are also given the chance to use a promo code at this stage, though, as we shall see later in this BetPack review, promotional offers are something of a weakness of this bookie.
Overall, the BetPack ratings in this category are good. The site is easy to use, pleasant to look at, and the registration process is very simple.
No Welcome Bonus for UK Customers
Is BetPack a good betting site for bonuses? The simple answer is no. There are no promotional offers in place at all for people who live in Britain. Further research unearthed that customers in Northern Ireland were the only United Kingdom punters who could claim a welcome bonus at BetPack. Customers in the Republic of Ireland can also claim this bonus, so it is limited to residents of the island of Ireland.
The welcome bonus for Irish customers is €25 (or £25 in Northern Ireland) of extra bets, which you receive in return for a first deposit of €25. Obviously, it is not possible for customers from Scotland, England or Wales to claim this bonus, so it has somewhat limited appeal for UK punters who are not living in Northern Ireland.
This lack of a welcome bonus makes BetPack stand out from the crowd, but not in a positive way. Almost every rival bookmaker on the market makes new customers some kind of bonus offer, and it seems somewhat mysterious that there is no such offer in place at BetPack. Extra bet or matched deposit offers are very useful to punters too, as a way of getting their accounts at a new bookie off to positive starts and building up a ‘war chest’ of useful betting funds. It is really disappointing that BetPack do not offer any kind of welcome bonus.
No Additional Bonuses in Place
There are no other ongoing promotional bonuses on offer at BetPack either, making this a real area of weakness for this bookie. Promotional offers are a very good way of enticing new customers and retaining established customers, so hopefully BetPack will consider introducing some bonuses for their British customers soon.
In the meantime, somewhat sadly, we have to award low BetPack ratings in this section of the BetPack review. The rating in this category is therefore just one out of 10, due to there being no bonus offers in place at all for people who live in England, Scotland or Wales.
No App Available at BetPack
Betpack does not have an app available for either Android or Apple users. Some might see this as a sign that they cannot consider BetPack trustworthy, but there are many bookies that don’t offer apps to their customers. Hopefully, BetPack review this situation soon, and develop some apps that can make mobile gaming simpler for their customers.
There is a mobile version of the site available, which you can use if you prefer betting on your mobile device. The mobile version of the site is actually better when it comes to design and how it looks than the desktop site, which is interesting. When using the mobile site, finding sports and markets becomes very simple indeed. The sports are lined up along the top of the page, with handy icons showing where you can find each one. Key markets are featured on the homepage, as with the desktop site.
Very Good Mobile Site
The mobile site features all the same markets and betting found on the desktop site. The full range of live betting options is available, and is simple to find. A tab is located at the top of the homepage, just as it is on the desktop site. Again, many of the site’s users may well find the mobile version clearer and neater in its lay-out than the desktop site when it comes to finding live markets. The graphics are certainly of a higher quality, and look more professional.
The overall ratings for BetPack are quite high in this category. They would have been higher had there been an actual app available for customers to download. But the way in which the mobile version of the site looks and functions means that the rating is still solid in this category.

Use MultiBet to Build Coupons
If you visit the BetPack homepage, you will notice that there are some additional tabs at the top of the page which allow you to access some of the bookmaker’s additional services. The extras are Multibet, the casino, and virtual sports. Multibet is a feature which allows you to build multiple bets more easily, by showing many of the available markets for a list of events.
The casino has a good range of games on offer. You can play table games like roulette and blackjack, and there is an extensive selection of online slots, featuring games such as The Phantom of the Opera, Castle Builder II and Thunderstruck II.
Social Media Channels Do Operate
BetPack does operate some social media channels, though there are no links on the homepage to allow you to access the quickly and easily. The Facebook page has just over 2,500 followers, and features some video content, but mainly tiles advertising BetPack products. There is some slightly irreverent content that uses humour too, somewhat in the manner of fellow Irish bookie Paddy Power. Their Twitter page has just over 1600 followers, with the content being pretty much the same as the Facebook page. There is also a Youtube channel, though this has not been updated for many years.
Overall, the rating in this category is a solid six out of 10, rather than anything more spectacular. There is a sense that BetPack is ‘going through the motions’ a little bit with its social media offerings.
A Good Range of Payment Methods Can Be Used at BetPack
Much like the findings from our Expekt review, there is a good range of payment methods on offer at BetPack. UK debit cards, issued by Solo, Visa Electron or Laser can be used to deposit and withdraw funds from your account at the site. Deposits are instant and the minimum size of the deposit is £5. The minimum withdrawal to a debit card is £10, and they usually take three days to be processed.
In addition to debit cards, you can also use Visa and Mastercard credit cards to deposit and withdraw funds from your account. The minimum deposit is £5, and deposits are processed instantly. The minimum withdrawal is £10, and there are no fees charged by BetPack.
No Fees and Quick Withdrawal Times
Neteller is another payment method available for deposits and withdrawals. You have to wager all of your deposit. You are allowed one Neteller withdrawal in every 30 –day period. Any additional withdrawals during a 30-day period will be subject to a charge of $20 or its equivalent in your local currency. The minimum withdrawal is £10.
You can also use Paysafecard to deposit and withdraw funds, but the minimum withdrawal amount is £100. Your funds are paid into your bank account when you withdraw using this method. Prior to a first bank transfer withdrawal, you must prove your identity to BetPack by providing them with copies of your passport and proof of address.
You can find out about all the payment methods on offer at BetPack by clicking on the ‘Deposits and Withdrawals tab in the site’s help section. This detailed and reasonably extensive part of the help section of the site provides some clarity and plenty of information about the available payment methods, and contributes to the site’s rating of eight out of 10 in this category.
9. BetPack Support & VIP
Customer support options are basic, but pretty good nonetheless, at BetPack. You can use the telephone to contact the site, but live chat and email, via a contact form, can be used to get in touch with the company if you have a query.
Use Email and Live Chat to Get in Touch
The customer service team at BetPack operates from 9am until 10pm, seven days a week. This means that it is pretty simple to reach the customer service team if you have a query about your BetPack sign up offer or similar. The live chat option is available on the desktop site, but not if you are using the mobile version of the site.
Hopefully BetPack Review their VIP Options Soon
There is no VIP club or similar initiative in operation at BetPack, which is a bit of a shame. The only real additional service that could be compared to a VIP club is the Multibet service at the site. This allows you to build multiple bets more easily, so is very useful. It is a long way from being a VIP clubs where you have a personal account manager and can access a range of improved services, though.
The lack of a telephone number, coupled with the lack of a VIP club or similar for committed customers means that BetPack scores another average rating of six out of 10 in this category.
Fully Licensed in the UK and Republic of Ireland
As seen in our Bruce Betting review, licensing is everything when it comes to choosing the best provider. BetPack holds licenses to legally operate in a range of countries and regions of the world. With its headquarters in Malta, it holds a licence from the Malta Gaming Authority for sports betting, casino gaming and poker. The company also holds a licence issued by the government of the Republic of Ireland. Of more interest to British punters, though, is the fact that BetPack is licensed to operate in the United Kingdom by the UK Gambling Commission. This means that all residents of the United Kingdom who are over the age of 18 are legally allowed to place bets and play the other games which are available at the BetPack website.
BetPack Works to Keep Their Customers Safe
From the details given on the website, it is clear that BetPack pays close attention to keeping its customers from falling into some of the addictive traps which can affect some gamblers. The company states that its customer service representatives are trained to offer guidance and support to customers who are struggling, where appropriate. There is also an extensive advice section on the website, which offers customers additional information on how to monitor their gambling.
BetPack also offer their customers the tools to limit their account if they feel that things are getting out of hand. You can set alerts to warn you about the amount of time you have been playing at the site. Time-outs are available for short periods, or you can choose to exclude yourself from the site for longer periods of up to five years.
You can find out more about how BetPack helps its customers who feel that they are falling into compulsive behaviour by clicking on the ‘Responsible Gaming’ tab in the site’s help section. Overall, when it comes to licensing and safe gambling, BetPack scores a reasonable seven out of 10.
BetPack Scores 63 out of 100 in our Review
BetPack has scored a reasonable rating of 63 out of 100 in this review, a score which keeps it away from being one of the top performers. BetPack is a long way from being a bad betting site, but there are a number of things that it could do to improve its offering to customers. More live streaming and a greater variety of live betting markets would be an improvement, but there are also plenty of good things about BetPack’s online offerings.
BetPack Strengths and Weaknesses
A strength of BetPack is its website design. The website is very simple and easy to use, and is not crammed with promotional animations or other clutter. Finding markets is never tricky, and the addition of the Multibet feature does help make the experience even more convenient. There is also a good help section at the site, and customer service is available seven days a week.
An area that could definitely be improved, though, is bonuses and promotional offers. The lack of any welcome bonuses for new UK customers makes BetPack look behind the competition. The lack of any further bonuses for established customers compounds this weakness, and makes BetPack seem a little ungenerous in the way it looks to attract and retain customers.
Overall, you can consider BetPack trustworthy in the way that it deals with its customers. This is a basic but good bookmaker, rather than an outstanding operator. It may suit some customers more than others, but it is an all-round solid online bookmaker. For more bookmaker comparisons, why not take a look at our Betsafe review or our Betsson review?
